STRICT NO-REFUND POLICY AND CHARGEBACK PROHIBITION
1. Absolute No-Refund Policy
All payments made to Salient Transporters LLC for services rendered are final and non-refundable, under any circumstance, including but not limited to client dissatisfaction, schedule changes, delays, or perceived quality of service. By booking our services, the client affirms full acceptance of this policy.
While on rare occasions a discretionary credit may be extended as a professional courtesy, such gestures do not represent a waiver, amendment, or future expectation of refund rights. Any account credit or adjustment offered does not constitute a refund, cannot be construed as precedent, and shall not form the basis for any claim of entitlement in future dealings.
2. Chargeback Classification and Policy
Chargebacks fall under three general classifications, all of which are addressed as follows:
(a) Criminal Fraud (Stolen Card / Unauthorized Use)
Chargebacks initiated due to true fraud—defined as the unauthorized use of a stolen or compromised credit/debit card—are illegal. If any such activity is detected or suspected, Salient Transporters LLC will fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies and the payment processor to provide all relevant transaction records, video footage, GPS records, and communications. Legal action will be pursued to recover all associated losses and damages.
(b) Friendly Fraud (First-Party Misuse of Chargeback Rights)
Any client-initiated chargeback on a legitimate, authorized transaction, including but not limited to claims of non-receipt of service, duplicate billing, or buyer’s remorse, will be treated as friendly fraud. This practice is considered fraudulent and abusive. Salient Transporters LLC will respond with complete transaction evidence, initiate legal proceedings if necessary, and take steps to blacklist the client from future services. Full legal recourse will be pursued, including collection efforts and litigation.
(c) Merchant Error or Service Dissatisfaction
Clients are expressly advised that Salient Transporters LLC does not provide or guarantee satisfaction or outcomes of service. Our services are delivered on a best-effort basis and are not accompanied by any guarantee of experience, punctuality, or perceived value. Dissatisfaction—whether subjective or based on service expectations—does not constitute grounds for a chargeback and does not entitle the client to a refund.
Should a client express substantial dissatisfaction during the course of a reservation, the service may be discontinued at the discretion of Salient Transporters LLC in the interest of de-escalation. In such rare cases, management may, at its sole discretion, evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis. A future service credit may be extended as a gesture of good faith, or in rare instances, an account credit to the original form of payment may be offered. This is not a refund, does not waive our no-refund policy, and must never be interpreted as such.
3. Zero Tolerance for Chargeback Abuse
Both true fraud and friendly fraud are considered intentional misuse of financial instruments and will not be tolerated. All such actions will be met with:
• Legal action for recovery of funds and damages
• Reporting to industry databases and blacklists
• Filing of claims with law enforcement for fraudulent misuse of chargeback systems
• A minimum of $500 will be added to the outstanding balance for any fraudulent chargeback initiated. This amount will be charged to the card on file or pursued through appropriate legal jurisdiction.
